The US team had been looking forward to traveling to London to meet the team in the UK for several months, so when the time finally came, we were really excited. After a long day of travels, we finally arrived and couldn’t wait for the weeks ahead.
I knew that it would be a rewarding experience, but I couldn’t have anticipated just how beneficial it would be and how much we would learn as a team. To provide some context into the value of the experience, here are some highlights of the US team’s time in the UK.
#1 Working with the team in London
Going from living and commuting in San Diego to London was a bit of an adjustment at first but the team was able to adapt to the fast-paced city environment. It was great to finally meet the UK team, in person, after communicating solely through our computer screens up until that point. Being around the energy in the office was great! It was very motivating to witness the passion the team had for TSI and our mission, first-hand. We spent each day whilst in the office learning a new element of the business and it strengthened the enthusiasm, we each have for the company that much more.
We also were able to experience the amazing company culture that they have in the UK, which was very special to be a part of.
#2 TSI Engage Conference, Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Since we were already in the UK, we were able to go with the rest of the team to TSI’s annual TSI Engage Conference in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. We all met at the London office and traveled together to the Stanstead airport, where we grabbed some food and then headed off to Palma de Mallorca.
Upon landing, we were welcomed with some of the most breathtaking views of the Spanish coastline, which is one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. While at the conference, we had the opportunity to listen to various informative presentations from the TSI management team on a variety of topics including The SkillsNow Platform, our US expansion, and the exciting trajectory of the business in the upcoming year.
In addition, we were also able to make some wonderful memories with both the sales team and the consultants.
#3 Sightseeing in the UK
We were also able to visit some beautiful places, within the UK, while we were there. Some of my personal favorite sights were Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, and Cambridge University.
It was truly an amazing experience, and I am so grateful that TSI gave us this amazing opportunity to travel and learn.
Thank you TSI!
